A thin profile blank with a smaller diameter than standard saltwater jigging sticks facilitates the sharp quick action and precise overall lure control that slow pitch jigging requires. To achieve such a thin blank, the rods utilize HVF nanoplus construction (higher volume of fiber and less resin), which also creates a lighter, stronger, and more sensitive blank than standard blank constructions.
